About CGL Foundation

The Community Growth Legacy (CGL) Foundation is a Paducah-based nonprofit restoring power to the people — through mentorship, cultural celebration, strategic partnerships, and access to resources.

Founded by Jeffery Williams and Andrea Robinson, the CGL Foundation has become a pillar in Paducah’s civic life. From Sundaze in the Park to voter drives, we reunite the community through love, leadership, and legacy.

Origin Story

Founded in March 2021, CGL was created to reflect Community, Growth, Legacy, and Foundation.
What started as a summer series (Sundaze in the Park) became a movement rooted in healing and pride. In 2011, Jeffery revived the historic Northside vs. Southside Basketball Classic — now held under the CGL banner and attended by 1,500+ annually.

These aren’t just events. They’re traditions, touchpoints, and testaments to what’s possible when communities lead with love.
